The recently concluded Red Had Summit, that was held in San Francisco from the 14th of April to 17th of April 2014, saw a number of product launches across various categories. On the first day of the summit, Red Hat launches a new online platform called the OpenShift, which connects existing Red Hat customers and users to connect with providers of third party partner solutions. The next day of the summit saw the announcement of the partnership struck between Red Hat OpenShift and SAP for providing data management services through OpenShift. With this, the Red Hat and SAP alliance had been able to create the biggest data warehouse available globally using SAP HANA and SAP IQ. This data warehouse would enable the developers to build next generation applications.
